MOSAIC MOMENTS PAGE PLANNER

Privacy

Your page is yours to explore. The Page Planner works without an account and does not save the photos you add or the pages you arrange. A Photo Print Guide you choose to save remains on your device.

Last updated October 5, 2026 · Applies only to the Mosaic Moments Page Planner, not our shopping or other websites.

Photos and page designs

When you choose a photo, your browser reads it and may make a smaller working copy for the planner. For regular planning, your photos and page choices are not uploaded. Your original files stay on your device. A Photo Print Guide PDF, if you save one, is generated in your browser and saved to your device; it includes small previews of photos you used. Closing or refreshing the planner removes both working pages, added photos, and suggestions; we cannot retrieve them for you. Example photos are site assets, not photos you provide.

If you choose to attach an image to feedback, that attachment is separate from the photos in your planner. It is sent to and stored by our feedback form provider, Tally, with your feedback. Do not attach an image you do not want us to review.

Show Me and photo sharing

Show Me is optional. Before requesting suggestions, you must agree to send small copies of your loaded photos through AWS to OpenAI to create page ideas. Each new request sends these copies for another group of suggestions. Your original files stay on your device. We do not store your photo copies or page designs in a planner account. Service providers process the copies under their applicable policies; Show Me does not guarantee zero provider retention.

Temporary access records and aggregate service usage are retained for access checks, request limits, and reliability reporting. Both pages share the same allowance of up to 24 Show Me generation requests per visit. Suggestions apply to one page at a time. Suggestions remain available in the planner during that visit; refreshing or closing the planner clears them.

Information involved in a visit

We do not ask you to register or enter personal details to plan a page. Like other hosted sites, the services that deliver the planner can process technical details of your visit, including your IP address, browser or device information, and requests for site files. The planner also loads fonts from Google Fonts. These services may receive technical information needed to deliver their content.

Checking your SnapFix subscription

You can plan a page without giving us an email address. To use Show Me or view or save the Photo Print Guide, you enter the address associated with your SnapFix newsletter subscription. We send it to the services that check whether the subscription is active, and use it in this planner only for that check. Entering an address here does not sign you up, send you an email, or add it to a Page Planner account or mailing list. The planner does not keep a separate email or membership record; it remembers only that the check succeeded during the current browser visit. The services involved may retain records of the request, including the address submitted, and the newsletter service maintains its existing subscription records. Your photos, page design, and PDF are not sent with the subscription check.

If you choose the SnapFix signup link, it opens the separate Mosaic Moments website. Its signup process and privacy notice apply there. Unsubscribing from SnapFix removes Show Me and guide access when your subscription is checked on a later visit.

Optional feedback

Our feedback form is provided by Tally. If you send feedback, Tally receives and stores your message, selected topic, any image you choose to attach, and any contact details you choose to provide. We use an email address entered in the feedback form only to contact you about your feedback, not to add you to an email list. You can send feedback without giving your name or email address. The feedback form does not automatically upload the photos or page design in your planner.

Statistics and site improvements

We use Google Analytics on the public planner to understand visits, traffic sources, browser and device information, and general site use. Analytics uses cookies to help distinguish visits and returning browsers. The planner uses a separate Analytics property from our shopping website. We do not send your photos, page designs, photo filenames, or the email address entered for a subscription check to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in the planner's tag. We also review hosting logs to fix problems and protect the site. For details about Google's use of information, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

MOSAIC MOMENTS PAGE PLANNER

Terms of Use

By using the Page Planner, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the planner.

Last updated October 5, 2026 · These terms apply only to the Mosaic Moments Page Planner, not to purchases or our other websites.

A planning aid, not a finished page

The planner helps you visualize possible Mosaic Moments page layouts. It does not save, print, or download a finished scrapbook page. A Photo Print Guide, when available, is a separate reference PDF with estimated print sizes and small photo previews, not print-ready photographs or a cutting template. Photos, placements, and other edits are temporary and cannot be recovered after you close or refresh the planner. Check pattern, die, size, and product details before cutting materials or making a purchase.

Our printing recommendations and your photo system

The Planner provides recommended photo printing and cutting sizes that can be used with many photo organization and printing apps. These recommendations are not the only way to print your photos; you may choose another method.

Features, settings, and terminology vary between apps and printing systems. Terms we use, including “Print Window Size,” may differ from those used by your system. Neither the Planner nor our staff can provide instructions or technical support for operating your particular photo app or printing system. For help printing to our recommended sizes or using another printing method, refer to your app’s or printing system’s instructions or support resources.

Show Me page suggestions

Show Me provides optional AI-generated starting points. By agreeing to photo sharing and requesting suggestions, you authorize sending small copies of your loaded photos to OpenAI to create page ideas. Each new request sends these copies again; your original files stay on your device. Suggestions may omit photos, repeat textures, and include cardstock. Check the photo framing, colors, die information, and Photo Print Guide before printing or cutting. Suggestions are temporary, editable recommendations.

Both pages share the same allowance of 24 Show Me generation requests per visit, with three single-page suggestions per request. Applying a suggestion replaces only the selected editing page. A generation attempt can count toward the limit even if it does not return usable suggestions. Service availability and overall service limits also apply. Refreshing or closing the planner clears the suggestions from your visit.

SnapFix subscriber access

Active SnapFix newsletter subscribers can use Show Me and view and save the Photo Print Guide. Enter the email address used for that subscription when asked. If you unsubscribe, access ends when your status is checked on a later visit. This is a subscription check, not a Page Planner account or verification that you own the address entered. Signing up for SnapFix takes place on a separate website.

Your images and permitted use

Use only images you own or have permission to use. You retain your rights in them; choosing an image for the planner does not give us ownership of it. You may use the planner for your own page planning. Please do not interfere with its operation or copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit its software, pattern data, sample images, or branding without permission.

Our materials and other sites

The planner and its content belong to Wish in the Wind LLC or their respective owners. Links to shopping or other websites, if provided, are governed by those sites' own terms and privacy notices.

No guarantees or warranties

Wish in the Wind LLC provides the Page Planner and its content “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise, warrant, or guarantee any aspect of the planner, including that it will always be available, work without interruption or errors, be compatible with every device, or produce complete or accurate plans. We do not guarantee that colors, paper designs, grid marks, photo crops, layer widths, measurements, patterns, die details, or other images shown on your screen will match printed photos, physical products, or a finished page. Displays, lighting, printers, materials, and production variations can affect appearance and fit. Product details and availability may change. Check actual colors, sizes, die compatibility, and placements before buying products or cutting materials; the planner is not a cutting template.

Changes and limits on responsibility

We may change or discontinue the planner, its patterns, or its features at any time. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wish in the Wind LLC is not responsible for lost or unsaved work, wasted materials, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use the planner. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Help

START HERE

Plan your pages before you cut.

The Page Planner helps you try a Mosaic Moments pattern with your photos, colored Mats, L1 dies, and background grid paper. Plan one page or a two-page spread. Use P1 / P2 to choose the page you are editing. It is a visual guide for arranging your physical pages.

It is not a page builder. It does not create a print-ready scrapbook page or save your photos and placements. A Photo Print Guide can be saved as a reference PDF, but it is not a photo print file or cutting template. Closing or refreshing clears both pages, added photos, and suggestions, so keep your original photos on your device.

L1 dies, Photos and Mats

Use the Photos / Mats / L1 Dies tabs on the left. Photos adds a photo, Mats adds a colored backing, and L1 Dies adds the die-cut paper. Choose a source, then click or drag onto a matching design spot. A photo or Mat alone fills its supported area. Where layering is supported, you can add one Mat before or after the photo; the normal border is ¼″ when available. Without a verified layering die, the spot accepts one full-area photo or Mat, replacing the other, and Mat Size shows No border (0 inches).

Find a die: Choose ALL, Alpha 1, Alpha 5, Decorative, or Frames. Alpha categories include their matching numbers. Select a design spot and turn on Fits selected spot to narrow the list. A die appears if either orientation fits; use its tray rotation button before placing it when necessary. The purple outline shows spots that match the die’s current orientation. Only matching single design spots accept L1 dies.

Frames: One-layer frames, such as Heart and Arch, accept a photo or Mat; adding the frame over both keeps the photo and removes the Mat. Two-layer frames, such as Graphics Frames, allow both. With a Mat, the photo fills the main opening and the Mat backs the other openings. Without a Mat, one continuous photo can show through every opening.

Decorative dies: One continuous photo or Mat backs all the openings. Adding a decorative die over both keeps the Mat and removes the photo. Adding a photo afterward replaces the Mat; adding a Mat replaces the photo. Craftsman, Quatrefoil, and Vitruvius are decorative. Individual small openings cannot be filled separately.

Die color: New die material starts Black. After placing it, use Die Color on the right to recolor it independently of the Mat. Select the die material on the page to reopen this control; selecting a die in the tray only prepares it for placement. Replacing a die keeps its chosen color.

Select or clear: Select the same tray source again to release it, then click the photo, Mat, or die material you want to edit. Clear removes only that selected material; Clear entire spot removes everything in the spot. Removing a die keeps its remaining photo or Mat and returns it to the normal spot sizing, with a fit choice when needed. Content removed by a material-capacity change does not reappear on its own; Undo restores the complete earlier state. L2 and L3 dies are not available in this version.

See the Version 1.2 workflow, from adding photos to reviewing your pages and guide. For detailed steps, watch the individual videos below. Each video has music, with volume and mute controls.
PLAN ONE PAGE OR A SPREAD

Working with two pages

P1 / P2 selects the editing page. Each page keeps its pattern, background, Photos, Mats, L1 dies, die colors, zoom, framing, and Undo history when you change pages. Page 1 is the left position; Page 2 is the right.

Shared photos: Both pages use the same photo tray. A P1 or P2 label shows where a photo is used. Remove all uses from both pages before deleting it. Each placement keeps the photo orientation it had when added.

View page: Choose Page 1, Page 2, or Both. The initial view shows pages with added content; a pattern alone is empty. If neither page has content, Page 1 is shown. Viewing does not change the editing page. Switch Order exchanges left and right positions while keeping you on the same editing page.

Show Me: Ideas apply to the page named in its dialog. Each page has its own previous-design restoration. Both pages share the same 24-request allowance per visit.

Clear page clears only the editing page's placements and returns its background to White Grid; its pattern, the other page, and your photo tray remain. Start over clears both pages, photos from the photo tray, and suggestions, then restores the starting patterns.

Photo Print Guide: One guide includes pages with added content in Page 1 then Page 2 order. Its top statement names included pages and explains an omitted empty page. Match the Planner page and spot number when using its instructions.

See P1/P2 editing, the shared photo tray, viewing both pages, Switch Order, Show Me targeting, and the combined Photo Print Guide.
THE MOSAIC MOMENTS BASICS

How the planner relates to a real page

01

Start with grid paper

A physical 12×12 Mosaic Moments page starts with grid paper: ten 1-inch squares across and down, with spaces between them and a border around the page. In the planner, Background Paper represents that foundation and shows through the spaces around your design spots.

02

Follow a pattern

A pattern shows where pieces go. Its colors point to die families or cutting methods, not to the colors you must use on the finished page. Choose Pattern shows the sizes, pieces, and planned cuts so you can see how your photos might fit.

03

Cut and assemble

For the real page, cut your printed photos or paper to fit the pattern using the appropriate A–E grid-size dies. Place those pieces on the grid paper so they cover the printed grid lines. The planner previews the arrangement and estimates photo print sizes; it does not cut printable pieces for you.

ADD DEPTH TO A PHOTO

What are Layer Dies?

Layer Dies cut a smaller photo or paper piece to sit on top of a larger piece that fits the grid. The larger piece remains visible around the edges as a colored layer.

In the planner, choose a color from the Mats tab and click or drag onto a supported spot. Photo and Mat can be added in either order. Select the spot and open Mat Size to adjust an existing Mat. One-grid-square-wide dies offer only a ⅛″ layer; other eligible dies offer ⅛″, ¼″, and ⅜″. The border is measured on each of the four sides, so a ¼″ layer makes the photo cut ½″ smaller in both dimensions. A B 4×6 grid spot also offers a separate option to place an uncut 4×6 photo on a colored mat, with the mat wider at a selected side or centered. You can still zoom and position the image inside the uncut window.

Cut the base piece with its grid-size die and, for regular layers, the photo with the matching Layer Die. Check your physical die sizes and fit before cutting.

Grid-size base + smaller photo cut with a Layer Die = visible colored layer.
UNDERSTAND THE PATTERN

What do the pattern colors mean?

Each color identifies the die or cutting method used for that part of a pattern. It is a planning key—not a required cardstock, photo, layering, or background-paper color. The same pattern color can appear in more than one design spot.

Pattern color → die → physical piece: Choose Pattern shows the dies used by the selected layout. Its detail table lists each die size, how many pieces appear, and how many cuts are planned.

DDie D
EDie E
Mosaic Moments basic die packages A, B, C, D, and E
Basic A–E dies cut the grid-size pieces shown by pattern colors. The basic sets also contain ¼″ layering sizes.
Mosaic Moments layering die packages A-L, B-L, C-L, D-L, and E-L
A-L–E-L layering dies cut smaller pieces for ⅛″ and ⅜″ layers. They sit on a matching grid-size base; they do not fill the grid spot by themselves.

For example: A B-colored pattern spot uses the matching B grid-size die for its base. For a layered photo, cut a smaller piece with the appropriate B layering size or B-L die. Use the dimensions and die information in the guide to identify the cut.

Colors in gallery thumbnails can vary slightly. Use the die labels and size/cut details in Choose Pattern when planning your physical cuts.

EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS

Choose a pattern that fits your idea

Each page opens with its own suggested pattern. Select P1 / P2 to choose the page you are editing. To explore other patterns for that page, select Choose Pattern. Search by number or style, filter by dies or number of design spots, and compare the pattern with photos already in your photo tray. Select a pattern to preview its details, then choose Use This Pattern.

Changing patterns removes the Photos, Mats, and L1 dies on the editing page only. Its background paper, the other page, and your shared photo tray remain available; review the confirmation before changing the pattern.

Search the A–E patterns, review one, then select Use This Pattern.
TRY SOME PAGE IDEAS

Show Me

Show Me uses AI to suggest three single-page Mosaic Moments arrangements for the editing page, using your shared photo tray. It does not automatically create a coordinated two-page spread. It chooses patterns and places photos to give you starting points you can edit. Suggestions may use only some of your photos. You can add Mats, L1 dies, and your own background after applying an idea. Show Me is available to active SnapFix subscribers.

Get your first suggestions: Add 9–40 photos, then select Show Me in the toolbar (or the planner menu on a phone). Enter your SnapFix subscription email when asked and agree that the Page Planner will send small copies of your loaded photos to OpenAI when you request suggestions. Your email and agreement are needed only once during this visit. Your original files stay on your device. Select Create 3 suggestions and wait for the three page ideas. You cannot edit the planner while they are being created.

Try more ideas: Select Create 3 suggestions again to request another group using your loaded photos. You can do this multiple times during the same visit. Use Prev and Next to browse the groups you have already requested.

Request limit: Both pages share the same allowance of 24 generation requests per visit, with three single-page suggestions per request. Requests used and remaining appear beside the Create button after your subscription is checked. The count includes attempts sent to OpenAI that do not return usable suggestions. Refreshing or closing the planner clears your suggestions.

Use a suggestion: The dialog names the editing page. Select Use on Page 1 or Use on Page 2 below an idea to apply it to that page. Confirm before replacing its existing work; the other page stays as it is. Restore previous Page 1 / Page 2 restores that page's design from before your last Show Me choice while its photos remain available. Each page keeps its own restoration. Review photo framing and the Photo Print Guide before printing and cutting.

See how to request suggestions and browse ideas. Use Prev/Next to browse saved suggestion groups. Applying or restoring an idea affects only the page named in Show Me.
THE FIVE STEPS

From photos to a physical page

  1. Add photos

Select Add photos to choose images from your device. They appear in the photo tray on the left. To practice without your own images, open the example sets in that same window and add one. After adding your own photos, the Add photos window stays open so you can add more; close it when finished. Loading an example set closes the window. Both pages share this photo tray. P1 / P2 labels show where each photo is used. Remove a photo from every spot on both pages before deleting it from the photo tray. Rotate a photo in the photo tray before placing it: each placement keeps the orientation it had when added, and later photo tray rotations affect only new placements. The photo tray holds up to 40 photos per session; remove some before adding more if you reach the limit. Keep your original files for printing.

These sample photos were created using AI for demonstration purposes. Any resemblance to actual people is purely coincidental.

Choose images from your device or try an example set.
  2. Place Photos, Mats, and L1 dies

Choose the Photos, Mats, or L1 Dies tab, select a source, then click or drag onto a supported design spot. A quick click places the selected photo or Mat, including replacement of that material in an occupied spot. To edit existing content, select the same tray source again to release it, or hold on the existing photo briefly before adjusting it. Dragging an existing photo releases an armed photo or Mat and moves that placement. Selecting the same unchanged photo already placed preserves its crop, zoom, and position. Use Unselect all to release every source and page selection without removing content.

Place a photo and Mat, choose a matching L1 die, and release selection to edit existing content.
  3. Edit Photos, Mats, and die color

Select a filled photo spot on the editing page to edit it. Removing a photo from a spot clears that placement's settings. Photo Zoom changes how much of the image fills the spot; 100% starts from a standard 4×6 portrait or 6×4 landscape photo. A smaller spot crops that print rather than shrinking it automatically. Drag the photo within the spot or use the arrow keys to move it. The arrow keys move the selected photo, even after using the zoom slider. Photo Cut Size shows the physical size to cut after any mat is applied.

Add or recolor a Mat from the Mats tab. Open Mat Size to change its border or remove it while preserving the photo and die. A frame with a Mat uses its fixed opening and shows Sized by die. Decorative backing shows Full spot. Unsupported layering shows No border (0 inches). Aqua-outlined widths keep the photo cut within 4×6. Matching B spots offer Use an uncut 4×6 photo on this B mat: choose Centered or a wider side. Portrait photos start with the mat wider at bottom; landscape photos start centered. You can still zoom and position the image inside this fixed 4×6 or 6×4 window.

When available, Adjust 4×6 framing moves the starting crop over your original photo without stretching it. Recolor a Mat by choosing a color in the Mats tab and placing it on the spot. Custom color keeps its own shade and Hex value separately from named swatches. Select die material and use Die Color to change only the die-cut paper. Fit and Reset preserve the Mat. Each use of the same source photo can be adjusted independently.

See photo positioning, standard sizing, Mat Size, independent Die Color, and Undo in Version 1.2.
  4. Choose background grid paper

Use Background Paper in the right panel to change only the editing page. Each page can use a different paper. Browse the grid-paper colors and collections, or choose a custom color with generated grid marks. Background paper is the base behind the pattern; it is separate from Mat and Die colors. Your current paper stays visible while the new choice loads; Undo restores a previous background.

Search the paper choices and preview one behind your page.
  5. Use the plan to build your page

Select View page to review Page 1, Page 2, or Both without changing the editing page. Open Photo Print Guide for the photo and cardstock print-and-cut details from both pages with added content, in Page 1 then Page 2 order. The statement at the top names included pages and explains when an empty page is omitted. A pattern alone is empty; a changed background, Photo, Mat, or L1 die counts as content. For guide access, active SnapFix newsletter subscribers enter their subscribed email address when asked. Review the guide on screen, then choose Save color PDF. The saved PDF is the same guide you viewed. Use your original photos for printing and check your physical dies before cutting.

Review one page or both, then read the separate Photo, Mat, and Die cuts in the matching guide PDF.
WHEN A MESSAGE APPEARS

Understanding warnings

Print window exceeds 4×6
The print window needs more room than standard 4×6 paper. Enlarge to fill keeps the photo filling the spot. Use Layer Mat, when available, adds a verified Mat and makes the photo area smaller. Matching B spots also offer Keep 4×6 uncut. Cancel leaves the change unapplied. The same choices can appear when removing or reducing a mat.
Photo Zoom changed
After a zoom change, a popup may explain a larger print window or a tight-cut notice. Choose Keep new zoom or Undo change. Zooming inside an uncut 4×6 window does not enlarge that window.
TIGHT CUT — Limited cutting margin on 4×6 paper
The cut fits the paper, but there is less than the recommended ⅛″ cutting room on one or more sides. This check uses the paper and cut sizes, not the zoom percentage.
TIGHT CUT — An edge close to the photo edge
The named left, right, top, or bottom cut edge is within ⅛″ of the actual image edge. Check the crop and positioning before printing. These notices appear beside Photo Cut Size and in the guide.
Turning zoom warnings back on
Uncheck Hide zoom warnings at the bottom of the right panel. It hides only the zoom popup; placement and mat choices still appear. Warnings start on again in a new visit.

Photos used uncut at 4×6 or 6×4 do not need cutting-margin warnings. An exact 4×6 cut does not get the paper-margin warning, but a cut close to the actual image edge can still be flagged.

Review the choices, check a tight-cut notice, and restore hidden zoom warnings.
FROM THE SCREEN TO YOUR REFERENCE PDF

Photo cut details and the PDF

The right panel shows Photo Cut Size for the selected spot. View page shows Page 1, Page 2, or Both without changing the editing page. The Photo Print and Cut Guide shows the recommended sizes and cut outlines for individual photos and cardstock. It includes pages with added content, in Page 1 then Page 2 order; an empty page is omitted and explained at the top. Its on-screen pages and saved PDF match. Planner page labels identify your layouts; PDF page numbers count document sheets.

  • Recommended Print and Cut sizes: Each photo or cardstock section gives its measurements and die information. Match both the Planner page and spot number to the numbered page picture. Each placement has its own details, even when the same photo is used more than once.
  • Print Window Size: The cropped area to print—not the dimensions of the whole original photo. Your app may call it a custom print size, crop area, or image cell. Move and zoom the photo inside this area while keeping the image in proportion.
  • Photo Cut Size: The finished piece after cutting with the listed die. Normally the recommended print window adds ¼″ to both width and height, giving ⅛″ cutting room on each side.
  • Blue dashed outline = print window. It is always a complete rectangle, even for a shaped photo cut. The solid die-package-colored outline follows the actual cut shape. Layering cuts use a lighter color. If the print window extends off the image, the guide shows that and includes the relevant notice.
  • Exact 4×6 or 6×4 cuts: The guide gives that common print window size, plus an optional window ¼″ larger in each dimension for extra cutting room when printing on larger paper. The print and cut outlines coincide at the exact size.
  • Uncut 4×6 photos: Labeled as used uncut, with no outlines. The crop still reflects your zoom and positioning.
  • Mat and Die material: Each has its own accurate cardstock cut. A Mat-only spot does not create a Photo section. Only a cut outline is shown. Identical cuts with the same color and size on the same Planner page share a section with a quantity and their spot numbers. Quantities are grouped separately for Page 1 and Page 2.
  • Save color PDF: Save the guide before leaving. It is a reference, not print-ready photographs or an actual-size cutting template.

These sizes are recommendations; you may print another way. Photo apps use different terms and controls. Refer to your app’s instructions—the Planner and our staff cannot provide instructions for using your photo app or printing system.

WHEN YOU WANT A FRESH START

View, clear, or start over

View page offers Page 1, Page 2, or Both without editing icons. Viewing a page does not change the editing page. Clear page clears only the active editing page, removes placements and returns the background to White Grid, but keeps your selected pattern and photo tray.

P1 / P2 changes the editing page without losing your work. View page can show either page or both, and Switch Order exchanges their left and right positions; you keep editing the same page. Start over clears both pages and all photos from the photo tray, then restores their starting patterns. Both clearing actions ask for confirmation. Clear page can be undone during this visit. Start over clears both Undo histories and cannot be undone.

Undo: Use Undo at the top of the right panel, Command-Z on Mac, or Ctrl-Z on Windows to restore up to 20 completed edits for the editing page. Photo movements, sizing, Mats, dies, colors, backgrounds, pattern changes, clearing, and accepted Show Me changes are included. Adding or deleting tray photos is outside page Undo. There is no Redo, and history is lost on close or refresh.

Unselect all: This button releases the selected material and any armed tray source. Escape also unselects after any open popup is dismissed; clicking unused surrounding white space unselects too. Your page content stays in place.

Neither page is saved. Closing or refreshing clears both pages, added photos, and suggestions. A Photo Print Guide PDF you explicitly save remains on your device; your original photos are unaffected.
